nurk should sit out if he's not well. nobody (well not nobody, just his blind haters) will criticize him if he does.

Agreed. We don’t necessarily need him this game. Claxton is their leading rebounder at 8.5rpg and is 6’11. Probably going to be a lot of small ball being played this game.

Rest up Nurk until he’s fully healthy.

Totally agree. If he is not healthy he should sit.
Not sure on the Blind Hate statement? A number of us like Nurk but expect him to be injured a large percentage of the time.
Him being injured again seems to qualify that sentiment.

Nurk should sit if he isn't 100%

Would be good to see Winslow back, he's a nice small ball 5.

Hopefully Nets are tired from long west coast trip and we can stomp them. Who knows though; they might play hard after getting blown out by the Kings, giving up 153! I want to see the Blazers with more energy and playing faster, Nets are not deep.

Be nice if the Blazers can finish this homestand strong these two games, tonight and then Saturday against the division rival Jazz. The following 4 game east coast trip could be very hard with the Blazers going 1-3 ish even if they play well. Need to pad on these wins at home.

To follow up on Nurkic a bit.
My opinion and possibly only mine.
I feel this team always needs a healthy engaged Nurkic. Some games he will fill a role better than others but when he is good there is no question he makes an impact.
Even more so the Blazers will need him in any 7 game series. You simply cannot play small all of the time.

Not really your fault. That Spurs thread stayed pretty active and keeps getting bumped.

Can anyone confirm that Nurk has a kicker in his contract if he plays 70 games or more. If that is true he has almost already burned that bridge.

    Not true.

Also, Nurk has missed 3 of the 14 games thus far. He's on track to play ~65 games at the current pace. He could easily play 70+ this year.

I agree, the obvious catch is that Nurk can't be relied on to be either healthy or engaged!
