That being said, part of the reason the receiving core sucks is because Eli clearly is moving towards washed up. Thus, why they need to draft a new QB if one is there.
I don't blame Reece for ODB over Martin, but he has a continuing issue with LB, a continuing issue with OL... and yet he doesn't address it...

I've said it for years. Reese is a moron who has no clue how to acquire draft picks. He never trades down and then goes for reaches in the draft. Double stupidity and he does it all the time. Fatcesa is a moron in that he thinks LB's don 't matter. You can't have a top defense in the league without fast, athletic LB's. Teams have too much speed. Reese adopts the same mentality. It will get him fired at the end of the season.
We are here to disagree...........Maybe I should have prefaced that Beckham is not a game changer with what he is surrounded with. He is very talented but his supporting cast makes it difficult for him to really explode.
They have ignored needs for years. For anyone who doesn't think LBs matter just look at what tight ends do to this team. We all know Witten has made a career out of killing the Giants. I have Romo to Witten nightmares. Apart from that look at the Atlanta game. Now you know Julio Jones can light anyone up so you have to deal with that but who was the other big receiver for Atlanta? Not Roddy White who was targeted once. It was Hankerson the WR and you guessed it Jacob Tamme the TE. He caught the 40 yard pass to open the winning Atlanta drive. Now onto the Redskins where I would bet we will see Cousins do his best to get the ball to the TE Reed often. The point is the Giants just get killed in the middle of the field because teams know they will also have a mismatch with the Giants LBs. Beason returning will help that but the guy never stays healthy.
I don't know what the proper thing to say is anymore, Eli from day one has looked and played like Elmer Fudd, but he has 2 rings , and that ain't bad to have on a resume, I also believe you give any QB in this league ,starter or backup time to throw they will complete a pass, too confusing. Giants could easily be 2 - 0 , Dallas is in trouble, the eagles r helpless, and if we win Thursday we r right back in it! Oh , and Odell beckam is a freekin stud who the giants have to get more involved .
