The Celtics are going to win this. LeBron will put up good numbers, but his teammates aren't good enough to help him get past the better all-around team. Rondo will own Williams, Allen will continue his hot shooting, KG matches up well with Jamison and Perk and Baby are two of the best guys around when it comes to guarding Shaq one on one. Pierce will probably slump, but he has always played decent d on LeBitch, and I think that will continue in this series. I have Celtics in 6.

I got Cavs in 6, they're simply the better team and the Celtics are older. Antawn Jamison should be a solid player anywhere, they have a decent cast now imo. KG looks damn old now and the Celtics aren't as good as the Magic were last year. They can't afford to just let Bron go off to that level.

If LeBron is hurt I see that as the only difference. Basically with homecourt neither team has been able to win on the road over the past few years, bodes well for Cleveland.

I think they step it up a bit and win on the road ending this early.

The Celtics had a better road record than home record this year, they also beat the Cavs at the Q this year, as well.

Also, KG hasn't looked all that old in the playoffs. You can tell he has turned up his defensive intensity since the regular season. Doc was also limiting minutes to keep him healthy before. The whole team is at 100% now, despite people generalizing all year calling them "too old" since they have nothing else to say because they are morons, and that just sounds good. Experience is not a bad thing in the playoffs, people forget that. Most teams that win have a number of older players playing major roles. Saying that a team doesn't have a chance because of age is just nonsense, as far as I'm concerned.

LeBitch taking that left handed free throw was just him setting himself up with an excuse for his 2nd round playoff loss. Kobe would never do something like that. Kobe > LeBron

LeBron is even better than back in 08, the Celtics have gone downhill since then.

I favor the Magic and Cleveland purely out of bias or something? I think you're being a little too loyal in this instance. The Celtics are old, 31-32 years old is old for any player, especially for KG with his problems.

They are "too old" compared to that 66 win team that won a title. If your goal is to be competitive then I guess they're not old, but as far as taking down the Cavs I don't see it.

That 66 win team had no major injuries all year. Doc was also playing the big 4 more minutes per game. This year they took more of a SA Spurs approach to the season. They saw how devastating a major injury can be last year and they said all year their goal was to be healthy for the playoffs. Also, compare their first round series vs. a 5 seed this year to that one where they barely beat the 8 seed, finished the regular season with a losing record Atlanta Hawks. They rolled through the Heat with ease this year, that year they barely beat the Hawks and it took them 3 rounds to win a road game, as well.

LeBron has to play at least at his 08 level, or I'd pick the Celtics. I don't see a situation occurring where he is averaging 36 points a game against BOS like in the regular season and the Cavs getting knocked out. The Cavs even rested a bit at the end of the season and didn't have Jamison the whole year.

The problem that I have observed is even in the minutes KG is getting, he's not the same player. You'll need him to be dominant again to win, and I don't know what you'll get out of Ray Allen. He's on fire right now, but for most of the year he was mediocre offensively. Rondo should play well though, Pierce manages to be productive usually.

When the Celtics win game 1 in Cleveland, you will change your tune. The Cavs are a good team and LeBitch is a great player. The problem is that they basically have no coach and are easily exposed in playoff series'.

I have C's in 7 games, kinds sucks we get them this early, if it wasn't for our dumb players giving up at the end we'd be in the third seed and would be playing Orland next round, a much easier team to beat. (IMO)

    Anyways....GO CELTICS!!!

I actually think it's better to play them now than in the ECF.
