As close to a must win as you can have without it being a must win (game 4 would be a must win if we lose game 3).

I think this game is huge for so many reasons as I mentioned the past 24 + hours.

Hopefully we come out ready to go and fired up, and the crowd lifts us even more. We should thrive on the crowd, but make sure we do the right things it takes to win a playoff game and not expect the crowd to simply carry us.

Win and we are in a solid spot for the series I believe. LGR!!!

I'm also very interested to see if AV puts Klein in for Holden. Seems like a slam dunk, but we'll see.

I saw Klein one of the first guys on ice in warmups. Hopefully that means he's in and Holden is out.

Love the fact that Klein is in, no brainer move, but why juggle the pairs. Put Klein with Staal as the 3rd pair. I guess AV wants Skjei on the 3rd pair, so that's why he has Staal/Smith as the 2nd pair.

And I try not to be critical of AV, but why the line juggling:

    Jimmy Vesey-Mika Zibanejad-Mats Zuccarello
    Rick Nash
    -Derek Stepan-Michael Grabner
    Chris Kreider
    -Kevin Hayes-Jesper Fast
    J.T. Miller
    -Oscar Lindberg-Tanner Glass

Hate Fast in the top 9. Moving other guys all over the place. Kreider with Hayes. Zib with Zucc. Grabner up. I think it is too much. Don't like it, and hate Fast in the top 9 in general, but especially when the 4th line was playing so well.

Hope it works out for AV, otherwise he will have questions to answer.

So far offense looks like they have all season at home and pp blows. Not hitting like they did in montreal either. Need to start playing with some emotion

They're just trying to be too cute once again at home instead of going to the net and throwing pucks on goal and looking for rebounds and getting a dirty goal.

I think it's been a good start, just missing on a Kreider tip and Lindberg post.

Yep. PP needs to stop being cute though. Get the puck to the net and make Price uncomfortable in the crease like they did Hank in game 2.

Look at AV's playoff record...3 games under 500 for a reason.

He's pressing. He's over thinking because he wants to make a big play because he wants to show up Montreal because of what happened between him and Price. If he'd just play his game he'd be fine.

Most of our shots are coming from the outside with no one at the net or really driving to the net. Most of Montreal's are the exact opposite. You'd think this team would see what's working and how they're making Hank uncomfortable and would want to do the same.
