Former USC center Marcus Martin has the disappointing distinction of being the last player still in the green room backstage at the 2014 NFL draft.

Thirty players attended the draft, and when Morgan Moses went to Washington early in the third round, 29 of them had been drafted. Only Martin remained.

Finally, with the 70th overall pick, the 49ers selected him, and Martin got to have his moment on the stage at Radio City Music Hall.

Martin has undeniable talent, but he suffered knee and ankle injuries late in the 2013 season, and those injuries prevented him from running at the Scouting Combine. That could explain his fall.
