Awesome! I saw on another site somebody suggest that Dame and the gang recreate the Bust a bucket video/song. I would love to see Dame's version of it Does anybody know somebody who knows somebody that could suggest it to him?
I was thinking he might still be busy mowing lawns this time of year Also for some reason, I can't tag anyone anymore?
I wouldn't mind seeing a video with more highlights from games, and not huge chunks missing (not complaining, just offering up a suggestion).
Who knows.....maybe you're in this montage..... “We’ve Grown Up Together” https://www.blazersedge.com/2019/9/13/20864579/portland-trail-blazers-50th-anniversary-promo-video
I posted this in another thread, but figured it might also fit in here. Here's a graph I created to look at the rise and fall of the different Blazers eras over the last 50 years - Lots of memories over these years. My family has been season ticket holders since 1974. I've grown up with the Blazers. Now my 18 year-old son is a huge fan. With the rise of Dame, I think we have some exciting basketball to watch over the next few years.
I still say Cheeks helping her out with the National Anthem was one of the best moments, that was amazing. I know people hate on Cheeks a lot but he was a good dude.
Roy sure is interesting. Talking about just a quick trip to the top and then a quick trip back down...
Also I really appreciate your graphs and content you throw out on here. It's very interesting seeing information and data "visually", I know that sounds stupid but more often than not we just see data as just a set of numbers, seeing in a more visually stimulating matter is always interesting. I realize it's all "visual", ah I'm doing a bad job at verbalizing this heh. Anyways thanks for your awesome work!
Yep. That jumped out to me too. Especially since Roy and Aldridge were drafted the same year. Aldridge is still going strong in the league. And oh how I wish that Sabonis curve overlapped a bit with the Drexler curve......
I actually find drexler's pretty interesting, his "peak" wasn't nearly as high as I thought it would be.
Agreed. Drexler was of course an amazing player and had great longevity. But I think what defines the 'Drexler era' was his supporting cast: Porter, Kersey, Duckworth, Buck, Robinson.... Without those guys, Drexler may have had to take on a greater load and had higher individual numbers, but the team may not have been as successful. Let's hope the 'Dame era' can assemble half of the supporting cast Drexler had. Nurk and CJ are a good start, but we need 1 or 2 more players to step up if Dame is going to take this team to the next level.
