A) Hawks are for real. They proved it in the playoffs last season. They played the Cs better than the Lakers did. B) Trivia question: Name the year that the Hawks last had the #1 seed. Don't look it up.
I didn't say they weren't for real. They are my team that I'm watching in the East this year, I'm really pulling and rooting for them. But at the end of the season I don't see them being number 1 or 2 or even 3 for that matter.
And I don't see Hawks as 1 or 2 this season. That's Boston and Cleveland. But I think Atlanta can get into the top 4 with Toronto or Detroit.
They could if they continue to play at this level against not only the lower level teams, but also the upper echelon teams. I wanna see them play Boston on Wednesday (I think?), the Lakers down the road, a healthy Utah team, Detroit, Cleveland (not really an upper echelon team, but whatever), Phoenix (an up and down team), and Houston (still meshing together). But so far they have been great. They really gotta do their best while J-Smoove is out. Also their positioning will hinge on the other teams like Toronto and Detroit's success this season. They have shown some great potential beating Toronto the way they did and the same against Orlando.
6th place is 6th place guys, period. i dont see why some of you are hating on him for mentioning that. heres hoping we can stay here or improve our position.
