Not exactly All-Star numbers, Laker fans. Yes, we sucked too but still...

Phil Jackson outcoached McMillan last night. The Lakers ran us right out of the building. We weren't prepared for that and it looks like the gameplan was to run, run, run, and run. That's not Bynum's game. They were up 20 most of the game, they didn't need Bynum.

Nate thinks you counter a running game with SnailBall.

We don't really have the muscle for that, most of our better players are more suited to a running game.

We could run with the Lakers if Nate understood how to teach full-court offense.

I'm disappointed we did not see the Oden/Bynum matchup. It was nothing short of a slap in the face of basketball fans everywhere to not see this.

You really don't know who DaRizzle is huh? Don't try to talk about things that you don't have a clue about.

    Both of you stop.

No one is trolling so don't start it.

Bad game for both players, for sure. However, when Oden is one of the biggest focal points of your team, and he has a night like this, it's bad. But, it's his first real game in a very long time, so it's not horrible. For Bynum, poor game, but he has Kobe.

I'd think Laker fans are pretty damn proud that they handed it to your Blazers. Individual numbers are irrelevant, they just want to win.

Jesus. You Portland fans were jerking each other off all damn summer, talking loads of shit, then get your asses handed to you opening night and still try to find something to rip on the Lakers fans for. This is despite the fact that Bynum's 8/3 (and 3 blocks) is a hell of a lot more impressive than the Oden's 0/5 and going 0-4 from the field including getting his shit stuffed by Pau Gasol on a dunk attempt.

Can you guys please stop being pricks just accept that you got owned fair and square?

Oh wait I forgot all you dudes seem to care about on this forum is post count. Continue on then.

    End rant.

I agree we have nothing to be proud about. The Lakers handed us our asses and it was embrassing.

For something that was being hyped by the fans and the media as Russell vs. Wilt, both performances were underwhelming. Oden more than Bynum of course.

And the Blazer fans have owned up to the fact that we got our asses handed to us. If anything it seems like this thread was targeted at a resident closet Blazer fan in DaRizzle. It is all in good fun. You can get your panties pulled from your crack now.

And about the post count, it's fun. This is a tight community and a lot of posters take pride in the activity on the Blazers forum, no matter where it may be.

Yeah, I realize its unfair to lump every Blazer fan in with this guy but I couldn't resist posting that. I apologize to all the great Blazer fans out there.

To the rest, please just STFU and eat some humble pie for once.

I believe it was LaMarcus that got stuffed by Pau, not Oden. Although I could be wrong. Oden did not attempt a dunk to my knowledge.

He didn't, and it was LMA. Good play by Gasol, but the only block Oden was a part of was the one he put on Bynum.

...I believe that Oden would have ended up getting his double-double [may or may not have surpassed Bynum in the Blk column, but Ast and Stl would have been just as easy to win] Then again, those are just my beliefs and they mean nothing if you don't have faith in them [WWGOD...What Would Greg Oden Do?!]
