I like hearing that but with almost the same team, I saw more 'effort' and 'trying our best' last year so something is different.
Nice I think we know that Dame but I think we want you to win too. But you know we need different pieces to make that to happen.
I like to hear they are leaving everything thing on the court. That they are wearing their hearts on their sleeves, and giving it their best. But, it's falling short this year. I know Dame says they are trying, but sometimes you got to stop trying and just DO
I like the sense of perspective and I don't think he is a (or most of these guys are) bum(s), but there's something different with this teams confidence and level of execution. Most of their woes are still down to lack of talent and a weird roster composition, but add in just an "OK" level of hustle and/or confidence and there's just a razor thin margin of error that they don't have the luxury of abusing.
Two things. My “impression” is, Dame and the other players are as frustrated with the results as the fans are, maybe more frustrated. Then this quote that “hints” at an off court family issue.
Tonight's continued suck age sure doesn't look like they care. This is Bullshit, just like his rant above. I'd feel more empathy if not for the millions they are getting paid for this lousy effort.
This is what we have come to expect from this team and from Dame, say all of the right things go out there and on a nightly basis not live up to their words. so this is all tough talk from dame. he loves to say how he's from oakland he aint with that tough talk, he bout that action ---- but in this case he's all talk. on a side note can we all agree that people (read: guys on this team improving their defense) dont change. They improve upon what they are good at but they dont change. Dame and this team simply do not play enough defense for us to win in any sort of meaningful type of way. Never have never will. Ive come to realize more and more that THIS is the 26 win team we were promised.
Dear Dame, I really love you and your good friends. I'd like to hang out with your friends sometime, they're really neat. However, if you could, please find some additional friends who can actually play basketball, sincerely yours, the fans
Stotts needs to fix this....it's not on Dame...he put up good numbers again tonight....most of the team couldn't throw a basketball in a swimming pool...horrible shooting percentages
I love you Dame....but the rest of the team (aside from CJ) are terribly boring. I know you like your teammates, but I hope you get a lot of new ones.
