My thoughts is cashman will have an intercom installed in the dugout and will buzzing boone all game telling him what to do. Complete puppet manager

Boone will never call a game again; not without Trashman's hand up his ass, ie The Puppet Master....love the intercom dugout mention, or will Boone wear an earpiece to Trashman and Hal....geezusfkngchrist. Surprised Cone wasn't interviewed (thank god), while Pauly O' Neill would of known better than to bother, imo....

I'd rather of had Buck, or shit, Sweet Lou, a mannequin of Billy Martin, anything better. A serious tilt of Trashman and Hal's incompetence imo. I wish Boone well, yet he's not qualified imho.....sorry Aaron, you just got in over your head, with fist up your ass too....

I'm fkng stunned they seriously gave Bam Bam, and damn near everyone else interviews. Meulen's can't and never could play at the MLB level. Bochy gave him a shot as a student from the bench; imo, no different than the 1 and out La Russa being given a position beyond his capability, then hiring Dave incompetent Stewart, the same DS who exited LA as a SP the morning after he was hooked by LAPD; (caught in a downtown LA alleyway with a tranny)

...^^^ but at least Torre had a good bit of prior managerial experience before he was given the keys to a Cadillac as manager of the Yanx... Neither the Mets, Cardinals, nor Braves teams had the talent level that the Yankees teams had.

...Boone is a nice guy and a decent commentator but IMO, hiring him as the next manager who comes equipped with "training wheels" is the wrong way to go...hope I'm wrong.

Speaking of pulling things out of the archives, I remember when I was like 7 or 8 years old the back of the paper said "The Bronx is Burning" I'm pretty sure it had to do with Billy Martin and old man George.

...with Thompson now gone, I wonder who Boone will pick as his bench coach...that decision could be a huge one for a rookie manager.

I am not happy with the selection. Listening to him and that bimbo on game broadcasts was a complete turn off. Boones comments about envisioning strategy he'd take if he were manager have no bearing on what is coming. Not happy with this choice at all. That home run he hit in '03 was a classic example of the sun shining on every dogs ass for one day not a qualifier to manage the Yankees following a man who won three championships as a player, 1 as manager. Fuck you Cashman, I spit on your choice.

The American League ROY said that Joe Girardi was communicative and supportive.

Cashman said he wanted a manager with better communication skill. Back Stabber Michael Kay stated that Joe Girarid had a "clench fist style.

Going on my 63rd season as a Yankee fan Ill believe the ROY before the other two.

...fuck Kay...he got his feelings hurt and is pissed just because Girardi gave Ken Rosenthal an exclusive interview first.
