Need to trade in my wife's 2005 Toyota Camry in very good condition, close to excellent. Kelley blue book on it in very good condition is $3,100. Could I get more?
I was wondering if Costco still did that for Volvos. Jim Fisher did knock the price down quite a bit. Just looked it up. Costco no longer has a deal with Volvo.
It was on their website for autos. See what that price is, then go to Jim Fisher and see if they can beat it. I assume it's the: Volvo XC90 2019 — T8 eAWD Plug-In Hybrid Inscription'
No, it's a 2020 T8 hybrid Inscription. My bad on my previous post where I stated that Costco no longer offered a deal on Volvos. However, the Costco price is higher than the dealer is offering.
My ancestors immigrated here many, many years ago. You both can make your donations to me. I take PayPal.
Oh hell, I'd give it to ya and then you'd just turn it down, wasting my time and energy so I'm just gonna cut to the chase and not even embarrass you by trying to give it to ya. I won't even waste any more time by trying futilely to convince you to take it. Bastard!
Gonna skip the trailer hitch, air suspension and steel bumper cover. Got a hold of a dealer in Bend who's gonna give me the package for invoice plus $500. This sounds really good to me so I'm seriously thinking about doing it. Total cost would be somewhere around $70,500. I may have to go for that.
Make him pay for your gas to drive back too. Mention "European delivery" and he will want to work with you to lower the price more. HIGH PRESSURE CLOSE, SON
Try going through a fleet sales person and see if you get a better price. That seems high. Any dealers fleet sales
"Dealer Invoice" is a joke as they have several dealer invoice costs to work from. My sister in law use to get really excited when a store would advertise 50% off only to find out that it was 50% off of the manufacturers suggested retail price and only about 10-15% off of every day price. They use those kind of words to entice the uneducated consumers.
Camry is in a good price range and the 31oo is the rock bottom if you negotiate Why a Volvo? Seems like a lot of money. Why not purchase a used SUV? It' a big question of durability and dealer service benefits Get free oil changes for life and free oil changes for life.
I've owned three Volvos and my wife has owned one. Two of my Volvos, a '69 and an '83 gave me a half Million miles of service. My wife and I got T-Boned by a car traveling too fast in her '87 Volvos and we weren't hurt, probably even saved her life. Really nice car. My last Volvo was a 2005 which some lady hit in the rear on the freeway. I drove it home but the insurance company said the frame was bent and it was cheaper to replace than to fix. Haven't had a car since, really. My wife does pretty much all the driving in her 2005 Camry. Time for one that will accept a wheel chair. The VA will modify the car to accept a wheel chair lift on the rear end of the vehicle. Volvo is famous for their safety. The three point seat belt was invented by Volvo and then they released the patent so every car could have one. Sweden used to have a law that said any car built in Sweden had to withstand a 20 foot drop landing on all four wheels and drive away. Ford owned Volvo for a while and put little money into engineering. The Chinese now own Volvo and have put over $11 Billion into engineering. My only complaint is that while almost all Volvos are built in Sweden, the XC90 is built in South Carolina. I'd rather have Swedish workmanship. Also, I'm not fond of buying anything Chinese except for Tsing Tao.
They're talking about knocking off $4,000 from the MSRP at Jim Fisher and Smolich, in Bend, is saying $500 over their invoice. I checked out a site that calculates the dealers cost given the MSRP and the dealer's invoice and came up with a number. I'm going to offer paying #1,000 over that calculated dealer cost and see what they say.
