Im confused, why would Washington want him? Are they going to play Arenas at the two? I suppose I'm happy as long as Daniels isn't helping the Lakers who seem to be one of the teams competing for the same 6-8 slots of the playoffs as the Warriors.

I assume it's so Arenas can play the off-guard position. Last season Hughes did a lot of the ball-handling and Arenas was at his most dangerous off the ball, so adding AD into the mix means this won't change too much.

I figured he was leaving....didnt expect Washington though. Ah well atleast he went to the east coast so he wont hurt us to much. Biggest loss of the offseason so far. He will be nearly impossible to replace I think.

This is a good move for Washington, they move Arenas back to his natural position at the 2 guard and get a strong point guard in Daniels. However, the loss of Larry Hughes is very tough because now they lose a valuable player on defense.

Entirely too much money in my opinion.

AD was good but just like BGJ he isn't worth 30 million dollars over 5 years. If he was willing to take a three or four year contract for 5 million per season I would have welcomed his return. Not for this much money though.

Good thing we have so many restricted free agents. So far the off season is going how I would have expected.

SMH..Damn AD is gone now, all of our players are being overpaid and stuff, nothing Rick Sund can do about it.

    Wizards-
    g-Gilbert
    g-AD
    f-Caron
    f-Antawn

They should be a decent team next year.
