Having Greg out of the lineup during this (grueling) point of the season is no big deal, because these are games the Blazers stood to lose anyway.
Disagreed. Greg needs this experience and see how he stacks up against the best. Now, it's just the same as last season.
Strongly disagree. Oden is now going to not be in game shape until the middle of December I predict. The team will need to make re-adjustments when he's introduced back into starting line up. And last, Oden has to wait to gain any real experience against the great bigs in this league. All of this is going to hurt the team's chances at making the Playoffs.
Again it's not all bad, this kid needs to build his confidence up and this weeks schedule is brutal playing against some great bigs. Do I wish we still had him of course but in the end it won't be all bad
Disagree. We can't baby him like that, he is going to have to get in there and get hit and bruised up. If he can do decent against the big centers and forwards in the league, the against smaller teams he should just dominate them.
Disagree big time. It depends on how Nate handles the situation though. No one has to guard Joel, so now LMA and Roy will be doubled. Nate should put Rudy out there with the starters to counter that. Travis is not the answer because he kills the spacing on offense
I know you aren't serious, but I will give you a serious answer anyway. At this point, I don't see anybody in the mid to late lotto worth getting that excited about. Even Rubio, the current consensus #1, hardly seems worth all the negative things people have already cited.
I agree that it might be good but not for those reasons listed. I think it will enable Roy and Aldridge and others to get into a bit of a flow then we can add Greg to and already established rhythm.
I agree that Greg's play over the next 2-4 weeks will not affect our win loss total during that period.
