<div class='quotetop'>QUOTE </div><div class='quotemain'>ir Avellino added new player, this time it’s American small forward Tamar Slay (204 cm, 28 years), who played for Capo d’Orlando last season. He had 16.4 ppg on 59.1% 2pt shooting and 4.4 rpg per game.

Before coming to Italy he played for Bakersfield Jam in NDBL in 2006-07 season, Israeli Hapolon Jerusalem in 2005-06 and in NBA for New York Knicks and Charlotte Bobcats from 2002-2005.</div>

He played for Hapoel a few seasons ago, as the article states. From the impression I got of him playing for Hapoel, he's a talented player but he needs to work on his decision making, a lot. You can always expect a travel or two a game from him. He played solid defense though, especially on Anthony Parker, who played for Maccabi back then and was considered virtually undefendable.
