    The only reason they'd trade him is if his knee is irredeemably fucked, which is obviously why most people see Portland as the logical destination.

    Oh please, I'd sever my left nut to pair up Dame and Embiid. If they can stay healthy that is an instant contender and perhaps favorite.

    Morey did mention he is looking at Dame...Sure Embiid was an MVP candidate but I think it's becoming very clear he is not a leader. When the going gets tough, Embiid gets going. Dame is a leader and simply thrives when the chips are down. Dame has more value than Embiid.

    I don’t think Embiid has the trade value this guy thinks.
    Virtually everyone in the NBA knows his injury issues.
    Probably gonna need surgery on his knee this off season.
    And there are rumors of him headed to Miami after his contract expires.
    Don’t get me wrong, he definitely has value. But to what extent? Every team that would want him, would be to pair him up with another star. Not like we would trade Dame for Embiid unless we absolutely had to.
    Wizards wouldn’t give them Beal. They’d offer Westbrook.
