    I really enjoyed Allen Crabbe during his time here, and I was a proponent of matching his contract last year. We should have just never signed Turner.

    One of Neil's best draft picks.

    I was hoping Allen Crabbe would develop into a star in Portland. I was on the fence about matching him. But, when Neil did I was rooting for Allen to live up to it. He couldn't become a star here, but I thank him for his time here. I believe he has a bright future.

    I appreciated the promise I perceived in him his first few years. I just didn't think it was enough to justify nearly $20M per year on spec, and then he completely flatlined in terms of progress.

    Our team just got worse. Don't care about his contract. I'm not the one paying it. Our bench now has 0 proven shooters. I'm sure this is just step one in a line of moves so I'll wait before I completely lose it.

    I don't really understand the need to come in this thread and give everyone your recycled trash about how you hated Crabbe. There are a million other threads you could do that. Your 2 cents aren't always needed.
