Wisconsin Coach Barry Alvarez will step down as the Badgers head coach at the end of this up coming 2005 season. I just heard it on our noon news update on channel 2. He will be replaced with the current Badger defensive coordinator at the end of this season. He is the winniest coach in Badger history.

Just to be athletic director, it has been a process that has been happening for a while

I tend to root for the badgers when they're not playing the Buckeyes, I wish him the best he's produced some greatteams and players.
