    With all due respect, this is among the most idiotic things you could say about this sale. Given Valencia's economic issues, they can sell their top players or fold. Villa said as much in a letter he wrote to the fans of Valencia.

    As an Arsenal fan, you should be pretty pumped about this. It was probably Barcelona or Man City for Villa. With the other guys City is sure to bring in, that would probably put them over you on the table.

    Also, Man City won't get much with them missing out on the Champions League. Top level international footballers won't have Man City on the short list unless they are old and looking for one last big payout.
