Anderson Silva wants to fight Yoel Romero for interim belt at 212 or else he'll retire

    Well, here's a change in tune.

    Silva, who has been turning down opponents lately, and was rumoured to be fighting OSP at catch-weight for no particular reason, now wants to fight Yoel Romero for the interim belt at 212--or nothing.

    Um, yeah, book it. Jacare isn't a contender anymore. Rockhold didn't want the fight. Whittaker is one more fight away given the current landscape. Why not?

    The interim belt means nothing but it that's what it takes, go ahead.

    Shogun has offered to fight Silva but wants a full two months to prepare, so not at 212.

    At this stage in his career I don't think Shogun is much of a match for him.

    That's funny, because I think Shogun beats him at this point in their careers. Anderson can't take a punch.
