I can't believe BGD hasn't posted this. Maybe its not on Ign yet.

These look pretty sweet. Well, the Moto one does. The others that have been shown aren't as nice looking. I think that anyone who was thinking of getting Galaxy Gear should think twice (unless fully committed to sticking with Samsung for everything).

Google Now is really good, so if the basis of this is Google Now on your wrist, that would be a great start. Add in good 3rd party apps and this thing would be perfect. I can't see myself ever talking to my wrist, but for getting notifications, texts, weather and other simple tasks/readouts, this would be pretty convenient. I like that Google put out the SDK and is supporting the platform, while letting the hardware companies focus on that part. Watches are very personal, so having a range of styles and functionalities is the best way to approach this. I'm sure Apple will come out with something similar and both systems will be great, but for us Android users, I think this is the perfect entry into wearables.
