I am not going to pretend I know everything but it seems like The pick for the Giants, Raiders, & Steelers make perfect sense to me.

The Chiefs could have the steal of the draft if all the above falls into play. I like the #21 for the Patriots. I think The Rams and Bills could do better and hope the jets don't do what the above suggested.

Carolina IMO might consider Vasher of Texas who as I have noted has played SS and can return kicks and/or punts.

I would do cartwheels all the way to Ft Lauderdale and kiss Spielman if Rivers were available and the Dolphins selected Marino's heir.

I keep hearing that the Bears are looking RB too but I have to ask WHY????? A-Train is a superstar waiting to happen......he rarely fumbles(less than 1 every 100 touches), and 3 years ago he was the leagues most productive 4th quarter runner, a true indication of dominence, the time a losing team is trying to stop the run the most, he ran aver everyone and the Bears were 13-3, they are better off using that pick on a lineman or CB

Defintely the bears should not go running back. I don't think the above will be right for the patriots either. I have a feeling they trade one of their first rounders either to move up for Stephan Jackson or down to a better second round pick and package something that lands them a first round pick next year and they draft Greg Jones in the early second round. I don't think Jones will be a first round pick unless he impresses at the combines. His ACL will scare some teams away.

Honestly i rather have sean taylor

Now before people go crazy saying i should be locked up and shipped away to a mental institute wait for my reasoning.

There are a million OL FA's out right now. were under the cap, and we need secondary help. My honest position on the Draft is DONT DRAFT A LINEMAN IN THE TOP 5. There has been those sucess' like Orlando Pace( double check that 1) but there have been flukes like LT SHELTON ( CHECK THAT ONE OUT)Im just saying that OL is OVERATED.
Yea u need a good one to survive but i liked Diehl and Petiguit. And maybe 1 more person can stay u get a OL in the second and u sign Meadows. SOunds good to me.
The bears definetely shouldnt draft a RB i say a TE or a LB
Many drafts have WINSLOW dropping to 13

Okay, Da Bears may release Slash. Whooopee! Does this clear the way for Warner to become the starter until he is supplanted by Grossman by week 6.

If Warner does come then to the Windy city s/b known as Tornado town as his wife blows hard & often and leaves nothing but destruction in her wake.

The BEARS will be looking at running backs at the combine unfortunatly. I have heard that they are showing interest in PEYTON and want to see what the kid can do. He is not his father by any means IMO. GREG JONES has size but i'm not sure if he will go 1st round. I would like to see a TE in WINSLOW but his attitude is in resimblinse to SHOCKY. We will find out soon what happens. Good luck to all![IMG]

I'm hoping we either trade up to get Stephan Jackson or get Greg Jones with either the last pick in the first round or make a trade to move up into the early second round. I saw a Mock draft on the site that GF1 posted that said the Pats would trade both their first rounders (21st, 32nd ovrl) for Pittsburgs 1st rd pick (11th ovrl) and their second round choice (42nd ovrl) to get Stephan jackson in the first round. If that site is right I'd be amazed.

I just dont see the Eagles drafting a WR in the 1st round. They will prolly trade for Justin McCareins. Here's a question for you guys. Why are teams so shy to trade 1st round picks for established players. I figure it's better to get a player you know is good, then to take a gamble. Most of the time, the salaries for high first round picks are just as high as free agent salaries. Look at this skins last year, THey got a better Value for Coles, then they would have gotten with anyone they drafted. I just dont see why trading a high pick is so sacred.

700, i doubt the Tenesee would trade McCarriens

    1. His salary is like 900k. Thats a huge output for that money.
    2. There WR's are starting to look like thae patriots ones they arent explosive but they get the job done.
    3. For any 1st rd [pick they would pay atleast double....they are the worst cap team in the league right now.

Shockey is a Saint compared to Winslow

Im a F!@#$#@ Soldier (that cracks me up every time)

That was one of the best lines by a college player probably ever. He stole it from one of Tupacs movies. Above The Rim

Thing is, McCareins is a restricted Free Agent. Eagles could make him an offer that the Titans just couldn't match, something front-loaded. And they wouldn't even have to give up a 1st round pick, unless the Titans give McCareins a first round pick tender offer, which I doubt they will. So, this will cost the Eagles a 4th Rd pick I think, cause thats were McCareins was drafted. And we should get at least a 4th rounder for losing Hugh Douglas. I think McCareins would be a nice addition. Watch for Winslow toin the Redskins uniform. Thats my prediction.

I agree that more teams should consider giving up the 1st round lottery ticket for established young players.....the draft is a complete gamble no matter where you pick, but if you trade for or sign a a young restricted free agent, you know what your getting....thats why I think the Dolphins will get the compensation for Ogunleye, whos 26 and had 25 sacks over the last 2 years including the AFC leading 15 last year
