Tough loss tonight but it's not the end of the world. Let's take a collective deep breath, count to ten and reflect on this with some perspective *LA, Sergio, Przy, Roy and Rudy all had good games. *Teams always play crappy on the first home game after a long road trip *We held Howard to 14points and 7boards *Orlando was on fire from the 3 and hit a freak bank shot at the end *On the bright side, the Lakers lost to the Kings by double digits (only positive thinking posts in this thread!)
Well if we have to go 40-1 at home in the regular season, I guess I will take it. Also -- great job to the crowd as usual. I really think the Rose Garden has the loudest fans in the NBA.
Impossible. Before tonight's game, the team was going to be 41-0 at home. Now, they'll be 7-34. That is just how it will be.
Yeah the crowds are getting really loud and it is nice to hear again especially considering it's early December. If we make the playoffs I can't wait to hear them then.
Not the best execution in the world down the stretch...Magic caught a lucky break. On to Utah! Sergio looked great out there. HOpe he can carry this play over to the next game.
During the game both Rudy and Joel went up for a rebound at the same time. Rudy's head happen to come across and it looked like his head was on Joel's body and I was so confused because from a distance it looked like Raef was in the game. I was like "hey aren't you supposed to be in Iowa mister."
Really the only Blazer who I thought stunk it up tonight was Outlaw, and he actually played well when he was first put in the game. But towards the middle to end, he seemed to make some real untimely mistakes. This is not a Outlaw hate post, just pointing out that tonight he was not good. But Orlando played well tonight and made a shitton of 3's. Nelson really impressed me, and sort of reminds me of a better version of Fisher.
Keep it together folks! Oden had trouble getting position on all-star Howard and had to fould to prevent the easy basket. *Rookie* mistakes. It happens, people. He had a double double just 2 nights ago.
I wish either Blake or Sergio would start sucking it up hardcore so they can be benched for Bayless, but both are playing well.
Blake anyone? 20 minutes of 5 fouls, some forced shots, only two assists, and some untimely turnovers.
Or, to break it up: 25 min: Sergio: 14pts, 7ast, 0 t/o 23 minL Blake: 6pts, 2 assist, 1 t/o, 5 fouls. Kinda sucks that the turnover was when we were up 5 with 40 seconds left, but I guess them's the breaks.
The Spanish Connection makes my heart smiles better to lose like this to a good team than the clipps or thunder Fuck I can't be positive, sorry guys, we just wasted HUGE games from Sergio, Joel, Roy (MONSTER) and Aldridge (LOCKED IN THE ZONE)
