Yes, I did a search, both here and on the internet, before asking here. The problem is things change and most info I could find is obviously stale. I'm moving and Frontier FIOS will no longer be an option.

All the Sling web site says under NBC Sports is "Select Markets". Gee, that's really helpful.

So, is anyone using the Sling TV Blue package to watch Blazers games - specifically those on NBC Sports Network Northwest? If so, how do you like it?

I know the Sling Blue package doesn't have ESPN, but there aren't any more regular season Blazers games scheduled on ESPN. There are several more scheduled for TNT, but that is definitely included in the Blue package. I can always pick up the Orange package during the playoffs for any games that might end up on ESPN.

    Thanks,
    BNM

I am just in Veneta just outside of Eugene, and the only NBC Sports networks that were available on Sling were Bay Area and California. I got Hulu with live TV instead because it has NBC Sports Northwest, as well as all the other national networks that games are on for $39.99/month. Works great!

I just dumped Comcast in favor of PlayStation Vue. Absolutely loving it. Don’t need a PlayStation to use it BTW.

I have it on a shared family plan. Works great for blazer games. DVR is decent too but the channel selection has much to be desired.

I have it. I like $35 a month and I give my parents a family account so they can watch games. I think the DVR is way better than PlayStation Vue.

Cloud based Unlimited DVR records every NBA game that’s on. Have to watch within 28 days though.

Thanks for all of the replies. I am aware of all of the other options, but was looking for the lowest cost service that includes Blazers games.

I don't watch much TV, and the only "must haves" for me are the Blazers Games (ideally both NBC Sports NW and TNT) and HBO for the three months a year when the new season of Game of Thrones comes out. I also wouldn't mind having AMC (the girlfriend is a Walking Dead fan), FX (just in case there is ever another season of American Horror Story worth watching) and IFC (for when I need a good laugh).

It doesn't appear that Portland is one if the "select markets" for NBC Sports. Bummer. Xfiniti now includes HBO in their least expensive internet/TV package starting at $49.95/month. If Sling TV Blue included NBC Sports NW, it would give me everything I need for $75/month. I guess I can get basic internet service for $30/month add Sony View ($45), Hulu ($40) or YouTube ($35) and then just pick up HBO for $15/month when Game of Thrones comes back.

You gotta run cables up to the clouds? What if it's a clear day, can you still watch?
