Paula White, Trump's "spiritual adviser" and a prominent Christian hustler, has claimed that Democrats, liberals and others who oppose Trump are possessed by the devil and demonic forces. In a video released on Friday (originally recorded at a Jan. 5 sermon) White even went so far as to use magical enchantments, calling for those who oppose Donald Trump ("satanic forces") to have their babies die in the womb. https://www.salon.com/2020/01/28/do...-why-the-assault-on-democracy-will-get-worse/
I'm not, but my Navigator is. It tries to start itself when sitting in the driveway and nobody around and no key in the ignition. I was told I need to take a Ford Pinto and sacrifice it off the top of Mt. Tabor.
Wow, babies die in the womb? But but but I thought they were so pro life for fetuses (once born people are on their own). Fortunately I am 1) and atheist and 2) registered independent so I am not losing sleep over this fraudster.
I mean, I know that salon.com isn't the upper echelon of journalism, but it's kind of disappointing that they would take a prayer clearly calling for the defeat of any demonic effort aligned against Trump and reimagine that as a declaration of satanic possession in all those who oppose him. And the miscarry line was pretty obviously a metaphor. I'm not any fan of Paula White or her hyperbolic verbiage, but I think we can do better than to intentionally misrepresent her.
“We declare that anything that’s been conceived in satanic wombs, that it will miscarry, it will not be able to carry forth any plan of destruction, any plan of harm,” White said before an auditorium of congregants.
Do you honestly believe that she believes that unborn children are seeking to carry forth plans of destruction and harm?
Yep fake news. Nobody gives a shit about some wack ass "spiritual advisor". What the fuck is a "satanic pregnancy" anyway?
Back to the original question, I would say that posting regularly on this board would certainly be a cause for concern. That and believing you’re a dog with dictatorial powers would seal the matter.
She also condemned "any hex, any spell, any witchcraft, any spirit of control, any Jezebel," and "anything that the enemy desires through spells,"
OK, she believes they exist, yes. Do you find it surprising that someone who believes in the existence of a spiritual realm--including satan and demonic forces--would believe it possible for people to call upon said forces? Doesn't surprise me at all. I don't see how that has anything to do with interpreting her comments literally. Like I said, it's pretty obvious to me that it is "any plan of destruction, any plan of harm" that she was praying not be brought to fruition, not an actual baby.
