Feels like momentum has been behind that for a few weeks so not so surprising. It's a more interesting fight (for me) than Werdum/JDS 2. Still holding out hope that JDS/Reem happens.
Speaking of Hunto, the man wants to get down to about 240-lbs. so he can still be competitive in the division. His loss to Miocic was "a hiding" according to the Super Samoan. http://www.geelongadvertiser.com.au...eep-career-alive/story-fnjuhrhu-1227402940937
That makes sense too, but IMO to create more matchups AA makes sense because we don't know how long this resurgence will last for and if he faces any other top 5 HW he could lose and then the UFC loses another potential title fight. If AA fights for the title and loses he can still match up with another losing top 5 HW. With the lack of depth and prospects at HW AA vs Werdum makes the most sense for drawing out interesting matchups at HW IMO.
