This actually happened about 20 years ago or so with a game between the Magic and Heat, I think? I think Shaq was involved. Should've fouled out but they kept in the game. So the next time the two teams met, they began by replaying the last 45 seconds of the game. There was also a game longer ago in which they replayed part of the game but one of the players had been traded to the other team before the replay so somehow, he ended up on both teams' boxscores. Not sure why they allowed him to play. That would've made the most sense.
I remember once I watched this game go FOUR freaking overtimes and...it was a semi-final playoff game!!!! There was this fat dude on one of the teams that played like 65 minutes or something..by the end of the game he was jelly. Missed a game tying free throw at the end. And...there was this other guy who freakin played with a seperated shoulder and played his ass off like has rarely been seen. After the game he was in tears due to the pain he was in. Man other guys were out there with fucked up ankles broken noses you name it. Unbelievable game I'll never forget it.
