Does any team around the league that you know of compile the worst plays of the game and if they lose run a package with those in it as the broadcast ends?

Sounds like Root Sports won't be on Dish anymore. :/

That's a constant with Dish though they let actual broadcast channels go for a bit sometimes. It's part of their negotiations or some shit. Really it's because Dish doesn't give a damn about their subscribers. Dish is usually for people who are in rural areas without cable that have a huge deposit with Directv.

This team would've been great in 2011. Grant Hill was still playing back then.

Yes the Grant Hill that played against Jordan and Drexler.

There is a reason we have never seen a title team with the bulk of their rotation in the 33-38 year range.

Luckily they go 12 men deep. Thats what you do when your players are old. Next man up.

The age thing is very easy to look at, but compare it to our roster if you would. Would you take their backup center combo of DeAndre Jordan/Dwight Howard over Zeller, Their back up PG Rondo over Ant? Their backup SGs, Monk/Wes Mathews or Ellington over our backup SG…… I couldn’t even tell you who that is. Their backup Forwards Melo, Ariza or Bazemore than ours…..who once again, I’m not sure who it is….Nas?
I say we have the advantage at PG and Center. But they get us everywhere else. That’s a pretty deep team who has tested vets. Their “old” players won’t need to bring it every night, LeBron is the only one really. They are going to have to deal with injuries for sure, but every team will. Next man up with them. That team is going to whip teams asses by committee. Should be fun to watch it all unfold.

Rondo got benched in the playoffs, can't shoot, and cares even less about the regular season. Ant had a better 2021 regular season and likely to improve so I'd certainly take him.
Larry Nance is our backup forward, much better than Melo, Ariza or Bazemore. Snell is similar value to those 3. So we have an advantage there.
Monk I would take over our guard backups, him and Nunn are the good role players the Lakers do have.
DeAndre and Dwight were around replacement level 15th men last year, I'd take a 28 year old Zeller over either. In 2011 those two centers were great athletic forces, now they are slow lumbering has beens.
I'd take CJ or Powell over Russ. Russ will have a bunch of triple doubles, but he is worse than Dame or CJ on defense, can't shoot, and believes he's a superstar.

The Lakers have huge advantages with LeBron and Davis vs our forwards. But both have missed huge portions of the season in 2 of the last 3 years and LeBron is now 37. Both will have enormous defensive burdens with the lack of defensive role players on that roster, and large offensive burdens with the poor shooters. Will they get worn down over 82 games? I'd bet yes.

How will these role players be better than having Kuzma, Kaldwell Pope, Harrell, Schroder, and Caruso? Those guys lead the team to the playin and a first round loss. Now the team is worse and some think they are the west favorites? Ridiculous.

The only reason why LeBron hasn't missed ample time in each of the last 3 seasons is because there was a 4 month break in the 19-20 season

Crazy to see Ariza has returned to the purple and piss. Hopefully he doesn't play against the Blazers this season. I've never understood how players like Ariza and Bowen were allowed to cripple guys and weren't 86'd from the League. I will never forgive Ariza for undercutting Rudy Fernandez. Insanely dirty play.

Has Rondo EVER been able to shoot? He isn’t out there on the court and never has been to shoot or score. So this one, I’ll have to disagree with you.
Nance is a damn good backup for us, have to agree with you there. But you lost it all with the “Snell is going to help as much as Melo, Ariza and Bazemore would. Snell will never be on the court for us barely let alone in crunch time. Melo will draw could down the stretch for them in a tight game like he did for us. So we will not see eye to eye on that one.
Good point on Nunn, forgot about him.
So you would rather have Zeller who can’t stay healthy over the random of DJ and D12? Not sure I can agree on this one bro. I can understand how you WANT Zeller to help us more, but he won’t.
Russ still is a superstar whether you want to believe it or not. Will you go to him down the stretch, no. He will be their 3rd option. Not a bad 3rd option to have.
LeBron’s numbers will go down this season for one reason. He just won’t have to burden as much as the weight as he has in the past. Neither will AD.
I am a big fan of roster depth and they have it over us.
They are going to have injuries, that’s obvious. But they have the talent to maintain.
It just kinda makes me chuckle to myself that guys on here actually think our Blazers will finish above this team in the standings. #MindBlown.
You didn’t mention Wes and Bazemore on the wings camping waiting to put up UNCONTESTED 3s…..I think that will help them out as well.
Good post by the way FAMS!

Or that he spends like 2 million a year on his diet and strength and conditioning regimen.
