If there is an Arsenal player who has improved his standing with the club this preseason it has been young Håvard Nordtveit. The 20-year old Norwegian central defender has spent the last three seasons on loan. There is a report out that the boy has signed a ubiquitous "long term contract" with the Arsenal and is expected to be something close to a first-team player this season.
