I'm convinced that telecom has taken over as the evil empire of this country.

So much more important now though. The internet is so crucial to freedom of speech and access to unfiltered news. Allowing these companies to control the internet is a massive problem, and frankly it's one that I'm willing to go to war over.

There are only a few things that I value so highly that I would be willing to literally fight to protect them, and a unfiltered internet is one of them.

So, in his scenario, the episodes on TV would still be 60 minutes, they'd just cut them down to 20 minutes for viewing on phones? Why the fuck?

All of HBO's planned spin-offs and the fact that they are racing ahead of GRRM pretty much ensure you'll be sick of watered-down GOT by then anyhow.

They aren't, but the stakes are significantly higher in this case.
