I know we just need to "believe harder" (send thoughts and prayers please)...but at what point do you just hope the team shuts down Collins and Nurk for the year and realize their return is probably more detrimental than anything?

I'm getting close to that feeling already. Makes for a more enjoyable time actually, that way I'm not depressed with the losses and I can enjoy the growth of Simons and Little, along with enjoyinh watching Damian.

Just let them come back when they are ready. No rush, no delay based on record.

Half of me wants us to tank. But the other half of me doesn't want us to for the simple reason that Olshey would blow it and draft some nobody while missing All NBA talent.

It's looking like a wasted prime year for Dame.

Everyone should be available in trade talks aside from Dame and Anfernee.

Anfernee, Little, and to see if anyone else can show signs of growth.

I was looking at the draft prospects after tonight's loss. Honestly, don't see anyone in this draft right now that is going to come in and be able to help next year unless we somehow got the first or second pick.

I think you let things play out. When they are ready to come back, you let them come back. If we're well out of it, maybe you are a little more patient with it, but I don't think playing them the last couple of months is going to obscenely alter our draft prospects.

Really? Not sure a good GM would have drafted Biggie. Or chose Zach Collins instead of John Collins. I'm sure I can find other blown picks of his too.

And don't get me started on being a no-show year after year when FAs come up. Though I give him some credit on good trades.

Well he drafted Lillard, drafted CJ even though Gannis was on the board but everybody missed on Gannis. Also he got Simons late in the 1st round.

a bunch of decent 2nd rounders as well. I agree he messed up picking Zach Collins but he isn’t completely useless.

Dame was Paul's pick. I even heard Neil say so himself in an interview years ago. CJ was Dame's buddy, so he probably had influence with that. Simons is good, but will never be great unless he develops elite defense.

And let's not forget the wonderful contracts he gave out, including to Leonard and that other clown Evan Turner, which is half of the reason why we still don't have any money.

He's utterly shit at his job. He thinks he's so great because he once drafted good players for the Clippers; ignoring the fact that they never made it past the first round.

We lost 4 or so games by less than 5 points. We could easily be 8-4 instead of 4-8. Plus, theres seventy games left. Stop :smiley-195517897341ing

And Dame was an IMMEDIATE contributor on the floor, in the starting lineup, with ROTY credentials. That's the part you're leaving out. What he brings offensively greatly outweighs his lack of defense MOST of the time.

Nobody we've drafted since even comes close.

And you are leaving out that Simons is only 20 and is far superior athletically than Damian was at the same age. It's comical how stupid that is.
