interesting. Hopefully for their sakes he is just putting out feelers like Chung did when he declared then came back.

I'm not sure Quizz needs 300 more carries on his frame for a shot at the Sun Bowl.

@kerryeggers that report that Jacquizz Rodgers is declaring for NFL draft? Quizz: "People don't know what they're talking about." More later.

I'm sort of stunned that they called him a tiny back. Dude is short but he's listed at 190 lbs which is only about 10 lbs or so less then an average D1 back. He's definitely not tiny

I still have doubts that he is really declaring if his bro is coming back for another year.

Better to declare this year then next year when LaMicheal James does. There's only so much interest in midget running backs.

He's a great player, but like LMJ, I'm not sure how well they're going to do in the NFL.

if I'm either James or Quizz, I'm declaring for the draft this offseason. They aren't going to lose the size knock on them by staying another year and they're about as hyped as they could be so might as well start having those snaps pay what they will. As LMJ said prior to the start of the season "NFL stands for Not For Long"

Lots of underclassmen should be wary of the potential NFL lockout next year. A.J. Green, the talented Georgia wide receiver, has said that it might hold him out of this next years draft.

I've always thought get the money while you can, you can always go back to school.

That's how I feel. I don't really see James' stock going any higher.

Unless your built like Maurice Jones-Drew or Michael Turner.

However, Danny Woodhead is proving that they can be a good secret weapon type. Not a feature back though.

James reminds me of Warrick Dunn a bit, so it is possible that he could have a successful career in the NFL, but I would think that Dunn is the exception and not the rule.

Kiper and McShay have LaMichael as a late 1st to high 2nd round pick. Smaller quick players are becoming more valuable in the NFL. Speed kills and we all know James has speed.

Hmmmm as a Reggie Bush type back maybe. But, with his 180lbs frame he could never be a feature back in the NFL. He will wear out too quick. You have to have strength as a back in the NFL, because defenses are just too quick.

Warrick Dunn was around 5'9 and 180. He played from 1997 to 2008.

I know all about Warrick Dunn, lol. He was short and stout. He was in the 190lb range.
