Bantamweight prospect Cesar Diaz died in a single-car crash Friday night in his hometown of Palmdale, California. He was 20. Diaz, a former amateur standout before signing with Golden Boy Promotions in 2016, lost control of a 2016 Honda Accord he was driving and crashed into a tree around 8 p.m. PT Friday, according to police. Diaz was ejected from the vehicle and pronounced dead at the scene, police said.
