Hey, i just wanted to hear your thoughts on Barca this year.

Im a ManU and Madrid fan but Barca have simply been amazing this year, Messi is the Cristiano Ronaldo of 2009.

Anyway, Barca is currently playing in 3 competitions (La Liga, UCL and Spanish Cup)

    LA LIGA
    - I believe Madrid should concede this trophy to them, 12 points ahead and no signs of letting up.

    UCL
    - Barca are playing like ManU last year, behind their super star forward in Messi. I think being second to Ronaldo in almost every individual award for 2008 affected him, if he manages to win at least 1 trophy he'll get all those awards becuse of the # of goals and assists he has. I do hop ManU eliminate them though, like what happened last year.

Spanish Cup aka Copa Del Rey
    - Barca ca neasily win this since the other teams that are left aren't that strong.

Thoughts? You think they can do it?

They already are a lock to win La Liga. No doubt about that. The Champions League is another story, since the unpredictability of the cup format makes it hard to any team to win it all, but I can see them winning the 3 titles.

Messi is playing at a fantastic level right now, he sure looks like the favorite to win all the "player of the year" awards.

I think it's highly possible they will reach semi's or finals of the Champions League. I'm not too sure about the La Liga and their domestic cup because I don't follow it too closely.

By the way, you have to be the biggest glory hunter, Kobe. Sorry, I just thought I'd throw that out there.

One fluke year doesn't mean shit. Tell them to win 9 UCL's and 31 Ligas. Maybe they can talk then.

But yeah Messi has been amazing this year.

    Glory hunter???

This userbar is a bit late i know..

Kobe and the Lakers are givens!

Ive been following Man United since Chelsea were the back to back champions!

Madrid? Ive been with them since the Galactico era when they never won anything...

Ive been a Ronaldo fan since he was booed by his own crowd for dribbling to much!

Ive been a Bynum fan since he posterized Shaq even though he looked like Kwame Brown in his early years.

You can't deny how great Wade and LBJ are... there's nothing wrong with being their fan.

Roger Federer? How can you not be a fan of arguably the greatest tennis player... who is in a SLUMP right nowagainst the new #1 in NADAL??? (its hard to watch)

GSP??? Ive set my eyes on him since his days in the Ultimate Fighter. Is that so wrong? How else would i have known him?

AND MANNY PACQUIAO! I AM A FILIPINO! Ive stuck with him through his days against Morales and Marquez where he LOST!

Clearly you don't follow all of these players or even their own sports as long as i have...
