Chicago Bears defensive tackle Henry Melton tore the ACL in his left knee Sunday night and will miss the rest of the season, coach Marc Trestman said Monday.
This injury is going to take a far greater toll than most fans think. Melton was double teamed on 25 of the 45 snaps he took against Pittsburgh. That means there will be a free blocker now that the opposition doesn't have to worry about ineffective peppers.
