I am very curious and anxious to see what these guys bring and if they can step up now that they have been given the opportunity to play at the next level.
I want to see them play but I am more into how this guys adjust each game. I am not expect much to due we got 3 players that play on the team last year and they usually try to take over the game and the young usually don't see the ball much. But most of all what little things there going to do on the court.
Unless Collins beats out Vonleh for the starting PF spot (crossing my fingers!), I think both Collins'/Swanigan's minutes will be quite limited during the first half of the season. We're going to try to re-build some trade value in Meyers, Davis, and Aminu before the deadline
I don't think so. We're going to try to win. If Collins/Swanigan are the better options they will play.
Ditto. I don't think Stotts will be playing players just to showcase them (or by how much money they are paid). This will be a competitive year. We'll be fighting for every win. The players that give us the best chance to win will be the players Stotts will have on the floor.
I hope you guys are right! But I don't have much faith in Stotts to recognize that a rookie might be better than a vet.
I don't think Meyers sniffs the floor this year unless there's injuries. There simply is no room for him now. Don't forget, we're also going to get a healthy Ed Davis back. That, alone, should greatly diminish Meyers playing time. Add Collins, Swanigan and an in-shape Nurk? Yeah, Meyers is fucked.
