    So this is kind of rad.

    In addition to Bellator co-hosting an event with Glory Kickboxing, Bellator is also holding a one-night-only light heavyweight tournament.

    The way it'll work is they'll have the four semi-finalists fight two-round bouts (Carmont vs. Lins serving as a reserve) and the winners will fight in a three-round final. The CSAC is demanding that there be 30-minutes minimum between the semi's and the finals so one would assume they'll have a bout or two in between. Presumably the tourney winner will be named top contender. They're getting away with this by having no fight exceed five rounds. WAMMA cut the rounds short and it went to shit so full rounds is better. In the event of a draw... I'm not sure.

    As for the kickboxing bouts I don't know what the ramifications are for the winners.

    The prelims for the show will supposedly feature MMA and kickboxing fights going on at once. They are really trying hard to pull both sets of fans (kickboxing fans, mostly).

    Who doesn't love Scott Coker?

    Mo Lawal defeated Linton Vassell but suffered a rib injury. Vassell was unable to fight in the finals so reserve fight winner Francis Carmont faced/lost to Phil Davis.

    If you missed it Tito went Full Tito at the end of the fight, absolutely hogging the spotlight to the point where McGeary didn't really get asked any post-fight questions since Tito was droning on about his long career and his huge balls, etc. Hulk Hogan-esque in his heat stealing, Joe.

    If Glory were hoping their matches would be the highlight of the night... swing and a miss.

    Aside from two or three minutes of Daley/Gonzalez going HAM the kickboxing portion killed the flow of the event.

    Sad thing is Daley/Gonzalez would've been better as a MMA fight.

    Melendez's wife fighting an 0-0 36-year old was suspect.
