Bellator couldn't get their shit together regarding their own lightweight champion Will Brooks (17-1) who is now free to sign with the UFC or elsewhere. Scott Coker is doing right by Brooks by letting him out of his deal. They are not taking the same approach with Vitay Minakov (17-0). Their heavyweight champion hasn't fought under their banner since April of 2014. He has competed three times in Russia in the interim (3-0).

How good is Will Brooks? Depends on how good you think Michael Chandler is since Brooks' wins over him are the only two noteworthy ones. Fringe top ten lightweight, perhaps. There is no sense of urgency for the UFC to pick him up but if they do they get a high level fighter.
