Getting blown out in game 4 will ensure that some guys don't return. It will also be embarrassing and force guys to work on their game and awareness. A win may be good for morale. Plus it will get the warriors to 3-1 lead but then we cant use that as a joke since they will have closed us out leading 3-1. Maybe "shock the world"? It's never been done but the team is not clicking at all. What would you prefer happen in game 4?
I'm kinda torn. My father is going on Monday to "watch the Warriors close out the series. I've never seen them close out a series in person before." I want the Blazers to deny him that satisfaction. I love my father, but I really hate this Warriors team. On the other hand.... I want a blowout. And Stotts to be immediately fired after the game. And Olshey's head on a chopping block. And Paul Allen weeping in shame as he cuts contracts of those who aren't pulling their weight. Which means anyone not named Nurk, Dame, or CJ. That's what I want. Decisions, decisions....
Lose so I can focus on the Stanley Cup playoffs But the experience will do us good......LOL I get it.
The Nurkic addition has been sensational, but it partially covered up the fact that this season was absolutely miserable before his acquisition. I want a blowout so that this miserable season hasn't got a Nurklear veneer on it that enables Stotts to keep his job. We need a MAJOR shake-up of the roster - and of the coaching staff too.
My only hope was to just win ONE game and not get swept, so last night was a downer...it's like we can't win no matter what. I hope we do win though, avoid the sweep.
I am thinking blowout. Only rotation players to keep are Dame/CJ/Nurk/Vonleh. They need a SF and some serviceable back up big men. Problem is that Crabbe, Turner and Leonard make too much money.
I want a close loss, with Crabbe showing up & being the high scorer. I also want Meyers to get some good time & have a positive impact on the game.
I want to see the Blazers play well, but I really don't care at this point if they win or lose Game 4. OTOH, I don't think I've ever been as stoked about the off-season and the possibility to make moves that will really make the Blazers a solid contender now that the Big 3 of Dame, CJ and Nurk is established. Should be a load of fun seeing what moves we make.
