There is probably a thread already about this, but I couldn't find one using the search function. http://big3.com/index.php/league-philosophy/teams Former Blazers Ruben Patterson, Jermaine O'neal, and Bonzi Wells are playing and Clyde Drexler is a coach. Several guys I don't know who they are.
I watched a few games last night at work and loved it....you can tell they're just getting it going but it was fun to watch....I like the format...the crowd was insane and a who's who of celebrities..Kendall Gill was balling for team Power and Al Harrington was good for his team....loved seeing Iverson, Oakley, Payton, Mahorn coaching...good to see Bonzi Wells out on the court too...I'm a fan of this new league and think it'll get better...one thing, they sure don't censor the language much from the huddles.....Cutino Mobley was good too. Anybody watch it? Not sure if this is OT or not...since it's basketball I left in on the Blazers page...Bonzi and Drexler were involved...Bonzi as a player and Drexler as a coach although Clyde seemed to do more spectating than coaching....Can't wait to see Sheed's team out there. They need to lose Michael Rappaport as the sideline reporter....he's terrible
I missed this...mods could merge mine with them if it cleans up things...started one this morning and didn't see one at first glance...my bad BoBoBrewski!
I love that they have the 4 pt shot circles like the Globetrotters have....and that they play to 50 and have to win by 2....in the time it takes to watch one NBA game I watched 4 Big 3 games....no long timeouts or reviews...just ballin'! Fans were in autograph heaven with all the basketball legends in the building....what a collection of greats from the past!
I also think the seniors tour in tennis is way more fun to watch than the pro tour...they do trick shots and camp it up...good fun!
