...a few "Jail Blazers" on these rosters -- and even Clyde coaching one of the teams -- this should interesting! Will the BIG3 have enough star power and entertainment value to make it beyond one season?
charles oakley as a player coach? rad. they should have a team or two made up of the best under 19 year old prospects, and pay them to play instead of them going to college. or maybe one under 19 year old per team. could be huge.
meh, it needs to be legitimate. ive been saying for years they should do a league for under 19 year olds and pay them instead of making them go to college. whoever figures that out will make a lot of money i think. especially if the league gets their way and raises the age limit to 20 or 21.
Complete rosters, including career scoring average and PER, age, most recent NBA experience and a list of undrafted players here. Latrell Sprewell and J.R. Rider went undrafted. Surprise, surprise. I wonder how much of a factor age will be in a half court game. How will 29-year old Xavier do against 48-year old Mahmoud Abdul-Rauf? Obviously, Abdul-Rauf was a much better player in his prime, but that 19 year age difference is significant. The Ballhogs don't have any former superstars on their roster, but they are all relatively young with fairly recent NBA experience. BNM
Pretty entertaining, not like NBA ball, but still interesting none the less. It lasts through August, so it's a nice bout of basketball while we sit through the long offseason. Ive only watched a few games, had some stuff to do. Might DVR next weeks games and watch them all. Did anyone else watch this?
I may have said this elsewhere in this thread but Jermaine was the first player we drafted who was younger than me.
There are probably hundreds of replacements for anybody already on a roster....I'm waiting for the Sheed, Rod Strickland, Dennis Rodman team
