Who you guys think was the biggest joke in the draft? I'll go for Michael Owolokandi (spell correctly??) which was the worst #1 pick.
You said it! Pierce, Nowitzki, Bibby, Jamison, and Carter were all taken before this guy. What were the Clippers on?

<div class="quote_poster">Quoting Devilz:</div><div class="quote_post">Jay Williams @ #2 as well....</div> I don't believe you can say that was a bad pick due to the fact that we never got to see his true potential. Granted it was his fault, I don't know if you can call him a bad pick, as he was showing signs of being very good during his rookie season. That being said, I believe Mike Olowakandi going #1 was the biggest joke ever. He has amounted to nothing so far in the NBA, and as far as it seems, will continue to amount to nothing.

How about the Wizards taking Kwame Brown over Pau Gasol, Jason Richardson, Tony Parker and Gilbert Arenas.
<div class="quote_poster">Quoting Pure:</div><div class="quote_post">How about the Wizards taking Kwame Brown over Pau Gasol, Jason Richardson, Tony Parker and Gilbert Arenas.</div> Very valid point, but has Kwame really gotten a chance to prove himself? 1st two years he was under MJ and a coach who had absolutely no trust in him what so ever, and last year he showed what he could do, especially with big games against Jermaine O'neal and a career high game against Chris Webber with 30 points and 19 boards. The limited minutes he has played this year he has looked good, wait until he is 100% and I think he will become the player he was supposed to be. But I agree, he was taken too soon, I would of rather taken Tony Parker or Pau Gasol, but we took who we took and I support him.

I'm not sure what you guys think of him but I think he's same as Kwame, they have potential, but no chance to prove themselves.
Not draft related but definetly laughable: Milwaukee trading the draft rights to Dirk Nowitzki to Dallas for the draft rights to Robert Traylor.
who is that smith guy on the bucks check him out that was a laugh! haah. and Torontos pick this year! wtf! aruajo, he was a late 1st rounder. we could've gotten IGGY for all i care. that makes me so mad.

Joe Smith #1... how good is he now? ... not that good compared to Sheed/KG/Stack... etc 96 Draft #12 Vitaly Popatenko... over Nash/Peja/JO/ etc. Also.. how about Emmanuel Ginobili @ #57 overall??
<div class="quote_poster">Quoting D-Mob:</div><div class="quote_post">Sam Bowie, I think that's his name.</div> You just hit it right on the nail, compared to the person who went after him it's a joke... 1: Hakeem the Dream 2: Bowie 3: MJ, nuff said
I think Todd Fuller is the biggest shame in the history of Warriors management when he was taken 11th in 1996.
