Former Chicago Cubs infielder Bill Mueller was named the team's hitting coach Friday, while pitching coach Chris Bosio was retained as part of new manager Rick Renteria's staff, the team announced. Also joining Renteria's staff is bench coach Brandon Hyde, the former director of player development for the Cubs. Former San Diego Padres coach Gary Jones was named third base coach while former Cub Mike Brumley becomes the assistant hitting coach.
