One thing we know about Neil Olshey is that he likes his guys (Aminu, Harkless, etc.), and if I am not mistaken, he drafted Blake for the Clips. Another thing we know is that the Clippers played their best ball of the season when Griffin was hurt. Another thing we know is that we need a big body down low. Another thing we know is that Griffin was rumored to be on the trading block at the deadline. Does Neil make a play for him this summer? Should he? I say yes and yes.
I don't think there is anybody on this roster besides Dame and CJ that they would even consider trading for. Since we're a playoff team this year, and hopefully next year, our draft pick next year won't be of much value. I'm thinking this is DOA.
Derozen and Marvan Williams at the 4 (3rd shooter, good defender). Maybe Pau Gasol at the 5? (Rim protector, Low post scorer)
No thanks. an egotistical headcase that cant control himself when dealing with his own team trainers... Sorry, we have a great locker room and would rather not take the chance of spreading potential cancer.
Larry Sanders has LAKERS SEASON TICKETS. Surely that eliminates him from all consideration. Here's a guy who was always a very solid defender but struggled with injuries, but seems to have found his game again in Turkey:
If we are bringing back guys out of the league, Ha and Oden are probably available. And Jason Jennings. barfo
Clippers are going to want a star player back; I don't see any way we give up DameCJ. It would have to be a third team that gives up an allstar and we flip a bunch of young assets to; at the least we're talking Plumlee, Vonleh, and a couple first round picks. Would we want to give all that up for a guy that could walk for nothing as a free agents the following summer? Plus its extremely rare to trade with a team that just beat you in the playoffs. I find it extremely unlikely. More likely we sign Durant as a free agent, or trade that type of package for Cousins. Besides all that; the concept of trading for these punks we're going to bounce in the playoffs is stupid! No Good Clippers!
Nice try, Sparky. We're winning with a douche-free roster now, and Griffin isn't anywhere near good enough to make up for his vinegar and water stench.
So Blake is the answer to winning? There is no other way? Come on man. We all want them to win, just not in the same way. I don't want him either, but it doesn't mean I don't want to win and it doesn't mean he is the only way to win. Stop trolling....
Blake Griffin hasn't won shit surrounded by allstar talent...and he's stupid so there's that to consider
