I went there and the first sentence is "introducing bibigo" which reminds me of the old Oregon trail joke: Somewhere after the Rockies there was a fork in the road. A sign said on top said "Oregon" with a right facing arrow, below it a picture of a pot of gold and a left facing arrow. Those that could read, went to Oregon. The 2nd joke of course is why are cops always going in pairs? One can read, one can write. Apparently, the Lakers writers can't write but it does not matter, since their fans can't read.
Dame and Chauncey met in the summer in Portland and worked out together. Great to hear. On Billups: "I want to be a part of his success and he wants to be a part of mine. It's something that I'm going to burden myself with and will take pride in for myself. Hopefully our season can get off to a great start. " Terrific quote from Dame and you can see the genuine conviction.
And there is Sean Highkin asking a gotcha question about Billups and the investigation. Sigh. "I know why YOU would ask this question."
Neil seemed completely resistant to breaking up Dame/CJ yet again. Skirted around a good Quick question by hiding behind Billups unlocking things that we haven't seen in the duo. There could be some truth to this, but there is a very clear ceiling to the pairing when you spend 75 mil on just those two.
