The Blazers signed LaMarcus Aldridge (#2) and Brandon Roy (#6) to rookie deals.

Draft night was a busy one for the Blazers, who traded Sebastian Telfair for the rights to Randy Foye, who they would later trade along with cash considerations for Roy. They would also trade the rights to Tyrus Thomas and Viktor Khyrapa to the Bulls for Aldridge and a future 2nd round selection.

We are extremely excited to add this unique blend of character and talent to our roster," Blazers interim general manager Steve Patterson said. "These two represent a strong part of the change in culture we are striving to achieve in Portland and we are looking forward to both of them being in a Trail Blazers uniform for a long time."</div>
