Right now the longest winning streak in the NBA belongs to the Lakers (7 games), the next is six games (Boston & Clevelend) and then the Blazers (4 games).

Sure would like to make it five games tomorrow.

    Hello darkness, my old friend
The way the Lakers are going, that will end up an 82 game winning streak.

That sounds like the 4th longest to me, not the 3rd longest...

Technically you are correct. However, I decided to go only by the number of games in the streak (seven games, six games and then four games) and not the number of teams; hence by that definition it is the third longest win streak.:cheers:

How's this for fun? Only 7 teams in the league have better records than us. Not bad after a 1-3 start.

No question, they will go 82-0. Then pull a Dallas and lose in the first round.:devilwink:

I would be really happy if Portland swept this road trip. I know its a reach, with the N.O. game tonight, but if Portland can pull it off, that would mean that they would come out of this hellish opening schedule with an 8 and 3 record, and a homestand coming up with a win streak rolling. Now that being said, it would lay the foundation for a serious winning streak.
