Anyone heard of one of these? https://www.oregonlive.com/weather/...lone-touches-down-in-southwestern-oregon.html
After driving through southern Wyoming at the end of this past March, I’d call what southern Oregon is currently going through “just another day in Wyoming in the winter”.......but then, the “new wave” Oregonian tends to shit their pants when they see a snowflake (absolutely NO political reference intended)........and they make up trendy new terms for just another snowstorm......
If snowdays were called in Iowa when I was a kid like they are in Oregon....I'd have gone to school for a few weeks a year. Two inches on the road and they call it. Also in Iowa the snowplow NEVER makes drifts in your driveway...here they don't seem to give a shit about that
The one thing I loved in LA was the thrift stores.....best winter clothes from all over the world get dropped off there as soon as the newbies show up.
You should see it when it gets in the 50s. EVERYONE is dressed up in scarves and baller jackets just flossing them out.
I have…..I lived in LA with my girlfriend from Liverpool at the time and people used to tell her how cool they thought it must be to be from there....she'd answer...Sure if you like wearing a raincoat at the beach...although she called a raincoat a mac
...the bomb cyclone or wtfever it is called has officially touched down in Redmond, OR -- been snowing for nearly 24 hour straight and approaching 12" with gusts peaking around 25-35mph
Wow!!must be more isolated than originally predicted form what I heard. I know northern Cali got some rain, then a bit of snow, then 90 mph winds for a bit, but then gone as quick as it came... reports from a friend outside of Redding. You are going to have a great Thanksgiving.
...except for Thanksgiving is now somewhat cancelled since my parents are not able to make the drive (they were bringing all the food lol)!!
