After reading the game's recap, watching its highlights, and looking at the shotchart, I still don't have an answer as to why Brandon Roy only played 14 minutes tonight against the Clippers. He started the game, has been doing well so far this season, had a pretty nice statline working so far (1-3 FG, 3 pts, 1 rbs, 2 asts), and only had one foul. It doesn't make sense why he didn't play that much. Is he hurt or something? What's the deal? Any info would be appreciated. Thanks. [IMG]

Unfortuantley for the Blazers he is hurt thus just about decapitating (sp?) the whole team. They say its a sore heel. Well I guess this only improves the Blazers chances of getting Oden if it becomes anymore serious.

Oh yeah Webster may possibly have a disc problem in his back so right now, things are looking bleak for the Blazers.

<div class="quote_poster">Quote:</div><div class="quote_post">LOS ANGELES -- Forget about the Trail Blazers' 102-89 loss to the Los Angeles Clippers on Monday; there will be many more where that came from. The real concern is with the Blazers' one-of-a-kind rookie -- Brandon Roy -- who now is injured and with an uncertain future.

A left heel injury that has been bugging Roy for the past month became so painful and stiff during the first half of Monday's game that he pulled himself, relegating him to the bench for the second half.

The injury is being likened to a bone bruise just behind his Achilles' tendon, but a proper diagnosis will be made today when Roy has a magnetic resonance imaging in Portland. </div>

Man that sucks. Any foot injury takes forever to heal...it's just so hard to stay off of it. Hopefully it isn't anything serious.

Here is an interview by someone asking Roy questions and from the looks of this interview it is serious and Portland may just be in trouble.

Edit: Nevermind about that article because the Blazers homepage says he will be okay and may be able to return as early as this Friday against New Orleans.
