Vesey is the type of guy who gets signed on PTO to eat up major minutes in preseason then gets no offer and goes to Europe.

I think they want Othmann to make the team.

    Kravtsov is nothing special.

Can't send Krav down without losing him. The only thing you can do is make him a healthy scratch if he's not cutting it. I think he just needs to settle in and get past the awkwardness of his departure. He does need to toughen up some and not completely rely on finesse.

Hopefully, Lafreniere's injury isn't too bad. They said it's not but I'll believe it when it's confirmed. Kravtsov has shown nothing impressive. To me, nothing about his game says NHL playoff hockey. Or even NHL regular season hockey. Face it, it was another stupid Euro pick by Gorton and Clark who seemed to do that all the time. Dobson or Wahlstrom were who I wanted them to take. Dobson looks like a stud. Wahlstrom could go either way. Out of the three, first rounders, one euro looks like a bust in Kravtsov, one euro in Lundkvist they traded and the only one remaining is Miller from the U.S. who looks like a star. I have no issue taking european players but you better be damn sure you hit on them. Look our top 5 defenseman. Fox, Miller, Trouba, Lindgren and Schneider. Not one euro there.

From what I see, Rydahl looks good, Carpenter stinks. He's awful. Slow, zero offensive to his game. Another stupid signing even though he was cheap. You can't cater to the coaches pets often.

Gorton and Clark never factored in the physicality of the NHL, Sather too. Still early but Kravstov hurt his development playing in Russia, he seems shocked there's no call when he gets hit. I like the Vesey signing. agree Rydahl looks good. It's great to have hard roster decisions to make.

Lol those Gorton teams were fuckin soft as hell. Rangers got as far as they did last year because they played physical hockey

Right now I see the roster up front as Zibanejad, Kakko, Lafreniere, Chytil, Panarin, Kreider, Trochek, Blais, Othmann, Goodrow, Reeves, Vesey. If they don’t trade Kravtsov they will keep him as an extra. Rydahl also an extra. Reeves isn’t needed for every game. Honestly, Blais and Goodrow need some days off the way they play. Othmann will need a rest as a rookie.
