<div class="quote_poster">Quote:</div><div class="quote_post">Unrestricted free agent Toni Kukoc will sign a one-year deal to return to the Milwaukee Bucks, according to National Basketball Association sources.

The 6-foot-11 veteran forward has played a key reserve role for the Bucks during the past two seasons while becoming a fan favorite. Kukoc, 35, and his family are expected to return to the Chicago area today from a summer trip to his native Croatia, and an agreement should be announced early next week.

No terms of the contract were available.

Kukoc's savvy and skills have proved invaluable to the Bucks since they acquired him in the trade that sent forward Glenn Robinson to the Atlanta Hawks in August 2002.

Kukoc averaged 11.6 points, 4.2 rebounds and 3.7 assists in 63 games during his first season with Milwaukee, and he put up totals of 8.4 points, 3.7 rebounds and 2.7 assists in 73 games last season.</div>

I like Toni. He can't play a lick of D, but he can spark the offense with his great passes, solid (but streaky) shooting and good leadership skills. He is getting older though.
